Arrive, unpack and feel immediately
at home in a cabin that lacks nothing. Our cozy mountain cabins, constructed with great attention for detail, meet every sophisticated guest’s needs: living room with fireplace, TV/VCR, radio, telephone and dataport, cozy bedrooms, modern bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen make up your private refuge for the duration of your stay. Your cabin is your castle. Therefore, it’s up to you to decide whether you want – for the corresponding additional cost – daily room service or prefer to have complete privacy. Additional terry towels, pillows, cool non-alcoholic drinks, coffee and tea as well as a hair dryer and firewood are in your cabin at your disposition. And of course, should you require something you don’t find, feel free to ask us for it. The spacious, furnished deck: ideal for meditation, discussions or for reading the book you’ve been wanting to read for ages. The absolute quiet up here makes for undisturbed siestas and ensures a relaxing sleep thanks to agreeable cool temperatures even during summer nights. After the first few days you will already notice how the isolation sharpens your senses; you will listen to the mysterious sounds of the surrounding nature – be it the bellow of an elk, the humming of the hummingbirds, the howling of a coyote family or simply the wind playing in the tree tops. And maybe, if you’re in luck, you may experience the first week of your life without the sound of a vehicle. Love travels through the stomach, as the saying goes. Being gourmets ourselves, it is our wish to spoil our guests with culinary treats. We enjoy our meals together with our guests in the Sun Room at the ranch house or on the sun deck. A hefty breakfast provides the strength for the day. A light lunch will be served around midday, on longer trail rides from the picnic basket. The extensive dinner is inspired by various
international cuisines: once Italian or French, once US beef, once
Asian or even one of Grandma’s recipes. |
