Lodging
14 comfortable wood-built cabins with private bathroom, air conditioning/heating, refrigerator and porch. Cabins sleep up to four people, bunkhouse up to six.

The Running-R ranch has one of the most beautiful setups in the hills. With over 5,500 acres to ride on we offer the best for every level of riding, which includes rides up to 5 hours into the adjoining State Park. After your rides stroll around in Bandera, a unique little western town with quaint shops, great rodeos and authentic Texan honkytonks. Then just enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the ranch, relax at the swimming pool and discuss your "cowboy-experience" with the wranglers and other guests. Interest for Children
Kids always have a great time on the ranch! There are lots of things to do for the little cowboys and cowgirls: get a well manored horse and go for a ride, play with the dogs and cats, go fossil hunting, horseshoe pitching, play ping-pong or just have fun in the swimming pool.

The Running-R Ranch is known for a great kitchen. All the homestyle cooked meals are made "from scratch". Enjoy our breakfast rides and famous Texan Barbecues. Non alcoholic beverages are served with the meals. Beer, wine and liquor can be brought to the ranch

History and Hosts
In 1992 the Running-R Guest Ranch was converted from an early 1900s working ranch into a full service guest ranch and is now one of the smaller ranches where guests can still feel the "good old times" and which is not commercialized or "touristy".
