History and Hosts
Bruce and Kim Coe are second generation guest ranchers operating
Hidden Valley Guest Ranch. Bruce says, "It's kind of in our
blood." The ranch is Washington's oldest guest ranch, dating
from 1947, and is located on a homestead that goes back to 1878.
Known for it's proximity to the Seattle area and gracious country
hospitality, Hidden Valley is a three year winner of the "Best
Guest Ranch in the Northwest" as voted by KING-TV (NBC affiliate/Seattle)viewers,
and is listed as a two (of four) star resort in "Northwest
Best Places". Listed as "one of the ten best places to
hold a family reunion" in USA Today.
Itinerary
Most of our guests check in in the afternoon, and dinner that night
is their first introduction to our ranch routine. There they will
meet our staff, visit with our many return guests, and begin the
unwinding process that makes Hidden Valley so special.
Next morning begins with one of our "wrangler's
breakfasts" and the morning rides go out shortly thereafter.
Lunch at noon, another ride in the afternoon, or maybe just lounging
by the pool or a lazy stroll along our creek. The evenings under
a rich canopy of stars are their own reward. Music in the guest
lounge, campfires and just relaxin' are the order of evening activities
here.
